Principle and Application of S6010 Load Cells

Load cell is used to convert the weight signal or pressure signal into electrical signal conversion device. Load cell using a metal resistance strain gauge to form a measurement bridge, the use of metal resistance wire in the tension under the action of elongation and thinning, the principle of increased resistance, that is, the metal resistance with the strain and the effect of change and made (strain, that is, the size of the change).

The principle of construction of the load cell metal resistor has the property of impeding the flow of current, that is, with resistance (Ω), its resistance value varies according to the type of metal. The same metal wire, in general, the more slender, the greater its resistance value. When the metal resistance wire by external forces and stretch, its resistance value will be in a certain range of increase or decrease. Therefore, the metal wire (or membrane) tightly attached to the object under test, and this wire or membrane and very thin or very thin, paste and very perfect, then, when the object under test by the external force and expansion, metal resistance wire (membrane) will also be in proportion to the expansion and contraction, the resistance value will also change accordingly. Load cell is the metal resistance strain gauge pasted on the metal weighing beam to measure the weight signal.    

The shape of the load cell structure and weight measurement form, frequency sensor shape structure with the different objects to be measured, the shape of the structure will be different. a. The more common shape of the load cell structure: column; S-type; spoke type; ring type; disk type; box, etc.. B. Forms of weight measurement: positive stress measurement (column, single point, etc.), shear stress measurement (double shear beam, part of the S-type, spoke, etc.).
